A neighbor was sentenced to jail for allegedly pointing a rifle at a family with Christmas lights.

According to an arrest report by Marion, the family lit up the Christmas lights at their home in Umatilla on Wednesday when the mother looked up and saw their next-door neighbor, 66-year-old Randy Cronk, looking at them with a rifle scope. County Sheriff’s Office.

Kronk was arrested on three counts of serious armed assault. He was detained in Marion County Jail and released after paying $1,500 in bail.
