Today, Vortex Optics just released their brand new 2021 Razor UHD 10x50 binoculars! This sweet binoculars is a telescope that I have always been happy to share with you, because since January 2021, I have been on a series of hunting and reconnaissance trips.
Razor Ultra HD binoculars are the highest quality binoculars produced by Vortex to date. I like to describe 10x50s as classic 10x42 binoculars.
I like high-quality optics, it serves my purpose as a mule deer hunter...because you can't kill what you can't find. 10x50s is the big brother of the classic 10x42s that most people are accustomed to hearing. In my opinion, these new 10x50s are the perfect cross optics, suitable for cornfields or bush-type national coasts in the west or even the east.
When you pick up the 50mm objective binoculars, I feel strongly that you are gaining an advantage. Razor UHD 10x50 is still very suitable for hand-held, and the performance on the tripod is very good. If you are not used to holding 12x power binoculars all the time because it is difficult for some people to keep them stable at such a high power, then these are a great pair of optics. In addition, if you are not looking for the west all the time, then 10x50 will be your main force for all regular hunting in your backyard.

According to Vortex, UHD optical systems provide "Ultra HD optical quality and unparalleled image resolution prescriptions that reduce chromatic aberration; provide excellent color fidelity, edge-to-edge clarity and light transmittance."
The UHD series uses Abbe Koenig prisms. These prisms are longer than previous versions. In addition to the new prisms, the Razor UHD series also uses advanced lens coatings to help overcome low light conditions. The multi-layer coatings on the prisms keep the image bright and clear. They also have improved edge-to-edge sharpness. What excites me the most is to use Razor UHD 10x50s to get more light!
More light! Right there, the Razor UHD 10x50 is immediately distinguished from the classic Razor UHD 10x42. You have an extraordinary vision, but now you are getting enhanced low-light performance. This is huge when you are working in an area and trying to find a monarch who seems to be stuck in the shadow of wood.
In my opinion, these are very suitable for long-term vitrification. In addition, they are very bright! And... because of the ¼”-20 thread, they are compatible with professional binocular adapters or sports adapters on tripods.
The optics used in my mule deer hunting kit are well thought out. Everyone knows that I am a big fan of Vortex Razor UHD 12x50 binoculars, and I was very impressed with the 10x50 version last year.
If you already have a huge observation mirror where you can do a lot of detailed work, then I would say that these 10x50 will do wonders for you to locate animals.
