Staying overnight in the Wyndham Club’s Christmas Holiday Countdown Suite is like living in a snowball.
joy. Magic. The perfect picture. When I saw the photos of the countdown to the Christmas holiday suite, these were just a few words that came to my mind. This is the first collaboration between Hallmark Channel and the timeshare resort Club Wyndham. Under the leadership of Hallmark Channel’s design director, three suites of Wyndham hotels across the United States have undergone a 360º Christmas renovation in time before the 2021 holiday. They are equipped with a floor-to-ceiling background for winter scenes. The indoor kitchen is full of seasonal hospitality and well-decorated Christmas tree and general holiday decorations are overloaded.
Although each room has the famous Hallmark movie in the front and center, they all have a local holiday cheer: in Evan, Colorado, guests can enjoy "Snow Mountain Christmas" accompanied by falling snow ; In Nashville, the rustic "Country Christmas" cottage features country music; in New York City, the "Classic Hallmark Christmas" room has traditional holiday charm and views of the Chrysler Building.
Available from November 12th to January 1st, starting from US$295 per night, these suites were booked shortly after being released to the public on November 1st-but I was fortunate to be invited by the hotel to the "Wind New York City" The classic Hallmark Christmas Suite at Club 45 in Midtown.

When I got out of the elevator on the 32nd floor of the hotel, I didn't miss which room was mine-the Hallmark Channel welcome mat and a huge garland decorated with mini Christmas gifts led the way. Inside the door, I saw a wonderful scene: a corner suite has become a holly, joyful wonderland, the windows are covered with paper snowflakes, the walls are hung with glittering garlands, and the windowsills are covered with luminous Christmas villages. . I think I walked into the set of a Hallmark movie and it was difficult to know where to look first, because every corner of the space was full of details.
On my left is a fully equipped kitchen that looks like a gingerbread house, where I found a Christmas cookie making station, a Hallmark-themed bowl full of popcorn bags, and a gingerbread house making tool Bag. There is a hot cocoa bar on the table, which is filled with marshmallows, candy canes, chocolate and more biscuits. At the entrance, there is a huge "Letter to Santa" mailbox, which contains all the stationery I need to make a Christmas wish list. The trimmed tree (preparing for the DIY tree lighting ceremony!) is surrounded by a running train and a Christmas song karaoke machine. To be sure, all this is a bit tacky, but it's hard not to smile-everything looks and feels so festive.
I walked into the bedroom, where I found more Christmas decorations, a complete set of Santa Claus suits hung in the closet (!), and a Christmas fragrance machine, allowing me to choose to make my space smell Like evergreen trees, gingerbread, sugar cookies or mint.
Back in the living room, I lay on a comfortable sofa with holiday blankets and pillows, and of course, I switched the TV to the Hallmark channel. Some of my colleagues stopped by to take a look at this space. When I started pouring them a glass of Hallmark brand wine, they noticed that there were DIY decoration making kits under the coffee table and gifts scattered around the suite, which said "Open me ." When we started to open the presents on the dining table and the elaborate gift baskets, it felt like Christmas morning. We separate the loot so that everyone can get something: Monopoly's Hallmark channel holiday board game, Hallmark Christmas movie inspiration books, Hallmark Christmas movie DVD, Hallmark theme tea from The Republic of Tea, Polaroid cameras, Christmas ornaments.
When everyone sipped cocoa and wine, decorated Christmas cookies and made decorations, the joy was overwhelming. In the evening, we put on a DVD of Hallmark Christmas Town, featuring our colleague Amanda. There is no disrespect for Candace Cameron Bure, but we decided to fast forward to the end and watch the important moments of Amanda as an extra show in the city tree light scene.
At the end of the evening, after everyone had left, I put on fluffy Hallmark brand socks and bathrobes, poured myself a glass of wine, snuggled on the bed, and pressed the play button on Christmas in Evergreen. When I woke up the next morning, I sat quietly on the bed and watched the sun rise over the Manhattan skyline and the East River. I don't want to leave my Hallmark movie fantasy world very much. I close my eyes so that I can dream about sugar plums for a while.
